A CAR was broken into and another was stolen while parked in a main road in Selby.
North Yorkshire Police said a taxi was broken into while parked in Gowthorpe at about 4am on Wednesday.
A spokesman for the force said a silver Vauxhall Vectra, registration NV55 YYA, was stolen from the same area at about the same time, and has not yet been recovered.
