Area counties receive MARCS grants

Ohio State Fire Marshal Jeff Hussey presented three counties with more than $1 million for fire departments within Guernsey, Noble and Muskingum counties to purchase Multi-Agency Radio Communications Systems (MARCS). The MARCS radio system is used across the state by emergency personnel and will improve communications during emergencies between departments.
