Felony arrests

Animal Abuse — Miguel Angel Rizo-Flores, 36, of the 13500 block of Agate Road, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Rizo-Flores Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree animal abuse. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday and released Wednesday after posting bail.

Sexual Abuse — Edwin Sinaloa Ambrocio, 27, of the 5700 block of South Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Ambrocio Tuesday on two felony warrants charging him with first-degree sexual abuse.  Ambrocio was additionally charged in Jackson County Circuit Court Wednesday with a felony count of driving under the intoxicants and a misdemeanor count of reckless driving. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $275,000 bail.

Drugs — Jeramiah Ernest Hinkle, 40, of the 3100 block of Kingsgate Circle, Medford. Medford police arrested Hinkle Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Criminal Mischief — Nicholas Ian Cain, 19, o the first block of Scholarship Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Cain Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor counts of attempted second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Robbery — Erik Dante Karlson, 52, no known address. Medford police arrested Karlson Wednesday on felony charges of second- and third-degree robbery, first- and second-degree burglary, second-degree assault, possessing methamphetamine and misdemeanor counts of second-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $252,500 bail.

Crime reports

Burglary — 4800 block of Bordeaux Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary at 7:06 a.m. Tuesday.  Items reported stolen included paint sprayers, a Hitachi chopsaw, a Craftsman compressor, flooring and framing nailers and a Tiger Claw installation gun. The loss was valued at $7,299.

Theft — South Oakdale Avenue and West Eighth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of two stolen generators. The loss was valued at $2,850.
