A lot of people are in the Twin Cities getting ready for the Super Bowl, but a different battle on the gridiron brought a crowd out Wednesday.
The event is called A Game of Honor.
It's a game between the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team and NFL alumni. Veteran Kelly Smith had to have her arm amputated, but on Thursday, she played wide receiver.
Kelli Volk: Did you ever think you would play football again?
Smith: No, I never thought I’d play football again or any of the physical activities.
Sanford brought about 25 veterans from the Sioux Falls area to St. Paul to watch the game.
