Haryana Government would set up citizen facilitation centres (CFCs) to provide e-services to the people under one roof in the urban areas of the State.

“Soon after Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s approval, to develop CFCs in all municipalities, 41 services would be provided under same roof which would benefit lakhs of people,” said Urban Local Bodies Minister, Kavita Jain.

She said arrangements had been made to develop CFCs in all 10 municipal corporations, 18 municipal councils and 53 municipalities. The Chief Minister has approved the proposal to implement staff format of seven members, four members and three members respectively, she added.

The draft of the scheme had been prepared to do away with the technical problems faced at such centres established in the  municipal areas, she said.

As many as 41 services would be provided to the citizens. These would include water bills, G8 receipt for tax payment, permission for entertainment programmes, re-registration, redressal of all types of complaints, including those related to houses, added the Minister.

Jain further said that due non-availability of trained staff, absence of server, lack of centralised system, various problems were being faced at the such centres in providing timely services to the citizens.

But with implementation of CFC system in all municipalities, all 41 services would be provided to people in a time-bound and hassle-free manner. While some services would be free of cost, for others, people would have to pay nominal charges, she added.
