Jaguar F-Type-Based Supercar Debuting in February

The Lister Thunder will officially launch in mid-February at the 2018 Historic Motorsport International.

Based on the Jaguar F-Type, the Lister Thunder pushes 675 horsepower from the 5.0-liter supercharged V8, allowing it to go zero to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds. Top speed is claimed to be 208 mph, making the Lister Thunder the fastest and most powerful Lister ever created.

Cambridge-based Lister was originally founded by Brian Lister in 1954 and has always had strong competition ties to Jaguar. More recently in 2000, the Lister Storm utilized a Jaguar V12 engine to power its way to an FIA World GT Championship.

Compared to the standard Jaguar F-Type, the Thunder features custom carbon fiber front and rear bumpers, as well as an optional carbon fiber hood. Highlights include an enameled green and yellow racing badge on the grille and a solid brass badge on the rear spoiler. Inside the cabin, passengers are treated to Bridge of Weir Nappa hide, found on the dash, door cards, roof lining, and steering wheel.

The Lister Thunder will be limited to just 99 units and prices start around $200,000 at current exchange rates.
