Ellen Elizabeth DeBolt, 80, of Newton Falls passed on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at her residence. She was born on April 8, 1937 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Coleman and Pauline Fanny Monroe. Ellen was a graduate of Newton Falls High School in 1955.
A longtime area resident, Ellen was employed by Oak Rubber and Packard Electric.
She was a member of the Newton Falls First Church of God.
Ellen had many different interests and hobbies. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, watching wrestling, spending time with her great grandchildren and caring for her Pug, Diamond. Ellen was proud of her many years that she was a member of TOPS. She had perfect attendance and was the Chapter Queen in 2015. Ellen will be remembered as a very active and loving person.
Memories of Ellen will be carried on by loving family, her son, Ronnie (Karen) DeBolt; her daughter, Twila (John) Denzinger; her grandchildren, Jason, Harley Raye and Nicholas and her great grandchildren,
Drake and Darian.
Preceding Ellen were her husband, Harley on January 27, 2002; her brother, Jim Monroe and her sister, Donna Peace.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls where a service will follow with Pastor Arnold Edmondson officiating.
