"I knew he should have fired somebody during the speech-- 'Mitch you’re great, you worked hard, but you’re fired,'" Kimmel joked.
Trump delivered his State of the Union address Tuesday night, calling for bipartisan action on immigration and infrastructure and asking a deeply divided nation to come together after a tumultuous first year in office.
“To every citizen watching at home tonight, no matter where you have been or where you come from, this is your time,” Trump said during the speech.
“If you work hard, if you believe in yourself, if you believe in America, then you can dream anything, you can be anything, and together, we can achieve absolutely anything.”
