Two men appeared in Magistrates’ Court today charged in connection with an alleged multimillion dollar drugs supply network.

Jamal Robinson and Isiah Ejiikeme face a string of drugs charges related to a police seizure in Warwick on May 11 last year.

Mr Robinson is accused of possessing $2,422,588 worth of heroin, ecstasy, cocaine, cannabis resin and cannabis with intent to supply.

The 41-year-old from Warwick is also alleged to have been in possession of $2,150 in cash, said to be the proceeds of crime, as well as grinder and scale for use in the preparation of drugs.

Mr Ejiikeme, 40, of Sandys is accused of possessing $5,600 worth of cannabis resin, as well as more than $3,000 in cash, which prosecutors also said was the proceeds of crime.

Neither defendant was asked to enter pleas to the charges because the case can only be heard at the Supreme Court.

Mr Robinson and Mr Ejiikeme were released on bail for an appearance in the Supreme Court at next month’s arraignments session.
