AS an avid reader of HAS I see that Steve Lawson is once again sounding off his opinions and tales of woe on the rights and wrongs of our society.
And, as most of us have relatives who went through two world wars he’s not special there! And as for him starving – many disabled people work and do not have the luxury of a welfare officer.
He remarks about Universal Credit claimants, spare a thought too for pensioners who have to “make do” without benefits, does he despise them for purchasing reduced price food too?

According to previous letters to HAS it seems he has frequent trips to Durham from Tow Law - not cheap for a benefit-dependent person.
This for a man with such pious principles.
