I see that the Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them press warm-up is going swimmingly. David Yates, the director of the new Harry Potter prequel, appears to be looking through a glass darkly for the follow-up series; compounding the production team’s “complete support” for Johnny Depp continuing to appear in the series as dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, with a wildly disappointing take on Dumbledore.

In 2007, JK Rowling declared Dumbledore, former Headmaster of Hogwarts, to be gay and formerly in love with Grindelwald – unfortunately too late for inclusion in her book series. He will be played by Jude Law in the next films in the Fantastic Beasts series.
