PEORIA — Corn Stock Theatre is pleased to announce the final production of its winter season: "The Curious Savage."
Directed by Kerri Rae Ryan, performance dates are Feb. 9 and 10, 15-17 at 7:30 p.m., and Feb. 18 at 2:30 p.m. at the Corn Stock Theatre Center, 1700 N. Park Road.
"The Curious Savage," written by John Patrick, is a comedic play about Ethel P. Savage, an elderly woman whose husband recently died and left her approximately $10 million. What will she do with the fortune?
Tickets are $14 for adults and $10 for students (through high school with student ID). Tickets are available online at www.cornstocktheatre.com, at the door, or by calling 676-2196.
The cast includes Helen Engelbrecht, Liz Scoville, Ben Maxwell, Amy Glass, Genenda Lane, Kevin Lucas, Dave Krostal, Rebecca Somogyi, Rob Prechel, John Kelly and Deborah Barnett.
The director and cast of "The Curious Savage" are celebrating local charitable organizations who do good for others, as is the central theme of the play. Each performance features a different organization with designated donations from the patrons going directly to that specific not-for-profit organization.
