To our Readers:
Every winter for as long as I can remember, The Inquirer and Mirror has held a vacation getaway contest for readers called March Madness, wherein over the course of four weeks readers can play by searching for 10 hidden icons in ads in each issue, fill out an entry blank each week and submit the entry forms by the deadline for a chance to win one of four vacation trips.
This year we renamed the contest Get Off the Rock, offering trips to Cape Cod, Boston, Portsmouth, N.H. and Bermuda.
In the process of renaming the contest, we omitted putting the palm-tree icons in the ads the first week. As a result, the contest will begin next week and run for four weeks, extending through Thursday, March 1, with a submission deadline of Tuesday, March 13.
For those of you planning to be off-island the week of school vacation, we will have extra copies of The Inquirer and Mirror's March 1 issue for purchase at our Milestone Rotary office, so you will still be able to play.
