OHIO COUNTY, W.VA. (WTRF) - There's a new store open at the Highlands that can help you cash in on some of your children's old toys and clothes.
'Once Upon a Child' is a consignment shop that specializes in gently used kids clothing, toys, and accessories. It's located in the former Rue 21 location at the west end of the Highlands.
If you're in need of items for the kids in your life, the people at the store say you can find quality, name-brand products for a fraction of the regular retail value, or you can cash in on some of the things you have at your house.
Once Upon a Child District Manager, Justin Saavedra said, "The corporation, they target bigger areas with higher populations. But knowing this area, and how people travel to come to this area for shopping, and all the local people it definitely is something that will be a great value."
The store will close this Friday to prepare to stage a grand opening sale on Saturday.
They're open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. everyday except Sundays when they're open noon to 5.
