A former Riverdale teacher pleaded guilty to one count of sexual battery last Friday.
Brooke Rosendale, 27, of Bloomdale, was indicted on three counts of sexual battery, each a third-degree felony, after she allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a Riverdale student between Jan. 4 and Feb. 3 of 2017.
The other two counts of sexual battery were dismissed after her plea.
She was a fifth-grade intervention specialist and junior high girls volleyball and basketball coach at the school before she resigned in March 2017.
She is scheduled to be sentenced at 10 a.m. March 7 in Hancock County Common Pleas Court.
