New Jersey Devils vs. Philadelphia Flyers: LIVE score updates and chat (2/1/18)

Taylor Hall, Keith Kinkaid, Nico Hischier, Kyle Palmieri and the New Jersey Devils will aim for their first win of the season against Claude Giroux and the Philadelphia Flyers when the teams face off at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Prudential Center in Newark.

The Flyers are 2-0-0 against the Devils this season, winning both games in regulation by scores of 5-3 and 3-1.

Kinkaid will make his second straight start and his second against the Flyers. He was left with a groin injury in the Devils' 3-1 loss on Jan. 20 in Philadelphia.

More to know: Nico Hischier and Nolan Patrick, the top two picks of June's NHL Draft, will go head-to-head for the third time this season. Patrick is scoreless with four penalty minutes in the two Flyers wins, while Hischier has one assist in the two Devils losses.

The Devils will go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen for a second straight game. They will roll out the same lineup that produced a 3-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday.
