MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) — Omnicell Inc. (OMCL) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $24.3 million.
The Mountain View, California-based company said it had profit of 62 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 54 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 52 cents per share.
The Omnicell Inc. posted revenue of $197.9 million in the period, which fell short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $204.2 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $20.6 million, or 53 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $716.2 million.
For the current quarter ending in April, Omnicell expects its per-share earnings to range from 22 cents to 28 cents.
The company expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.85 to $2.05 per share.
Omnicell shares have risen almost 1 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $48.90, an increase of 35 percent in the last 12 months.
