Missing S’garh married woman traced

A woman and her lover of Sundargarh were finally traced by police from Gujarat. The woman is married and had eloped with the youth. The woman claimed that she had married the youth.

They were identified as Siva Pandey and Deep Chand Yadab. Both being major, police now plan to set them free after collecting evidences of marriage and recording their statement in front of a magistrate there.

According to sources, Hansraj Pandey (28), a resident of a basti, located near Lotus Chemical unit of Vedvyas area of the city, had married to one Siva Pandey, a native of Bihar, about two years ago.

Pandey was staying with his wife and father at Vedvyas. On December  26, while cleaning utensils outside their house, Siva had gone missing from the house. Hansraj had lodged a missing complaint in the Brahamani Tarang police station.

In his complaint, Hansraj had suspected involvement of one Deep Chand Yadab (25), his neighbour, inm the missing of his wife.

Police had found no clue about Siva, whereas on January 24 evening, Hansraj had received a phone call from his wife through an unknown number, where in his wife had claimed that three youths had kidnapped her. She also told that she is being raped and tortured by the three youths.

Hansraj recorded the conversation with his wife and submitted the same in police station, pleading for rescue of his wife. 

Hansraj also had met Rourkela SP Uma Shankar Das in this regard. A team of police had been dispatched to Gujarat since the phone call had come from there.

Accordingly, a police team had visited Jamgaon area of Gujrat recently and had located the missing woman on Tuesday. But, they were shocked when the woman claimed that she has eloped with Deep. She also produced a video footage of their marriage, for justifying her claim.
