POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information after a car was damaged in a town near York.
The incident took place on Ingleton Drive in Easingwold at 3am last Friday and involved damage to a blue Volvo V40, North Yorkshire Police said.
The force is asking for the public's help to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
A police spokesman said: "In particular, we are appealing for information from any witnesses to the incident or anyone who has been offered parts for sale from a Volvo V40."
