I plan to wear all manner of Eagles green during the Super Bowl. That’s what true fans do, right? But the logo? That I can live without.
So I scoured Philly for retailers and found some of the chicest of green items that I'm sure will totally turn your game day ensemble into the talk of your Super Bowl party.
Go Birds!
Madda & Co.
This clutch by Wynnewood designer Maddalena Palermo of Madda & Co. is $225 and made of Italian leather. (If this bag is really your cup of tea, the matching tote can be yours for $299.) Take it to your Eagles party and then keep it front and center in your wardrobe, as it can definitely help with your transition into spring. Call 484-639-3004 or check out the Madda & Co. Facebook page.
Bernie Robbins Jewelers
These Honora pearls will pair perfectly with a simple white T-shirt or a black turtleneck on game day and party night. They are $135 at Bernie Robbins Jewelers, 775 E. Lancaster Ave., Villanova, 800-237-6437.
Henry A. Davidsen
Philadelphians are known for wearing their fandom on their sleeves. These VK Nagrani cuff links are a great addition to your Eagles-loving man’s wardrobe. You can get them for $195 at Henry A. Davidsen, 1701 Spruce St., 215-310-0219.
Boyds Philadelphia
Dress it up. Dress it down. I know this Jumper crewneck , $258, will be the sartorial hit of your Super Bowl party. You can find it at Boyds Philadelphia, 1818 Chestnut St., 215-564-9000.
Mike Prince
A great shoe game is a party weekend must. Choose from this collection of Eagles-inspired kicks at Blue Sole shoes for a classy, classic style. 1805 Chestnut St., 215-496-9244.
Wrap Ring
I’ve been a fan of dainty wrap rings since they made their debut last year. Manayunk jeweler Lisa Popowich introduced a version last week especially for Eagles fans who would rather wrap then stack their jewelry. For more information, go to www.wrapring.com or call 215-991-5600.
Drop into your Eagles affair with these Lisi Lerch drop earrings in hunter green. Named after the Newtown designer, the $68 earrings are available online at www.lisilerch.com or by calling 610-585-8683.
David Schwartz
You will always be dressed appropriately if you go vintage. This off-the-shoulder frock is available for $290 at Sophy Curson, 122 S. 19th St., 215-567-4642. But if you go for this look, remember there will be no shinnying up the light poles when our beloved Birds win.
