Dorcas LaNell Bullard, 78, formally of Quinton, Okla., died Jan. 25, 2018, in Independence, Miss.

She was born June 30, 1939, in Waurika, Okla., to Henry and Ada (Jones) Walker.

LaNell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Family said she loved spending time with family and friends and was welcoming to everyone.

She had many hobbies including genealogy, sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, beading and playing games on her computer, enjoying the latest technology.

She enjoyed gospel and country music and traveling with her husband her family said.

She married Bobby Edwards March 10, 1956, in Altus, Okla., and had three daughters.

She married Floyd Bullard, July 15, 1971, in Leadville, and to had two daughters and one son.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Bullard; her parents; brothers, Scott and Hubert Walker; three sisters, Ethel and Barbara Walker, and Tressie Lanoue; and one great-grandson, Wade Wilson.

She is survived by her son, Duane (Jennifer) Bullard of Shawnee, Okla.; daughters, Sue (Rondal) Wilson of Perry, Okla., Donna (Scott) Hall of Independence, Miss., Rhonda (Tim) Canterbury of Howard, Denice (Richard) Garza of Deltona, Fla., Tara (Clint) Hall of Midland, Tex.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Walker; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends said her greatest earthly treasure was her family and making sure they knew the Lord. They said they will miss her every day but are joyful she is resting with her Savior.

A memorial service will be held in Quinton, Okla., at a later date.
