AJMAN: The Ajman CSR Summit-2018 organised by Ajman Center for Corporate Social Responsibility (AJCCSR), a subsidiary of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reiterated the need to raise awareness of the public on the CSR concept, especially the children so that it will be inculcated in them from the very early age. It further recommended to have two tracks for the CSR. One is voluntary and the other is mandatory, in addition to providing a basic legal regulation to motivate individuals and entities.
The speakers also stressed the significant role of companies and the private sector in sustainability and growth through adoption of CSR initiatives.
