The long running crime drama is returning to screens this Sunday, February 4.
ITV bosses have confirmed that the latest run of Endeavour will consist of six episodes - the longest season to date.
Each episode will be two-hours in length and will run from 8pm to 10pm every Sunday night for the next six weeks.
Episodes will be available to stream on the ITV player shortly after their initial broadcast.
Creator Russell Lewis said: “Perhaps more so than previously, there is a slightly more serial element running through all six films. Obviously we’ve got our crimes front and centre, but there is a little pulse of tectonic plate movements running underneath in the narrative.”
Set in 1968, the new series of the Inspector Morse prequel will see acclaimed actor Shaun Evans return as the recently promoted Detective Sergeant Endeavour Morse.
Also returning is Roger Allam as Detective Chief Inspector Fred Thursday, Anton Lesser as Chief Superintendent Reginald Bright and Dakota Blue Richards as WPC Shirley Trewlove.
Sean Rigby from Gunpowder will be playing Sergeant Jim Strange and James Bradshaw from Primeval will be Dr. Max DeBryn.
Caroline O'Neil and Abigail Thaw are back as Win Thursday and Dorothea Frazil respectively.
A newcomer this season is Detective Constable George Fancy played by Lewis Peek of Poldark fame.

The new series begins with Morse having finally passed his Sergeant’s exams.
A synopsis from ITV explains that Oxford City Police has just merged into Thames Valley Constabulary “creating uncertainty for everyone at Cowley CID”.
“And despite Joan Thursday (Sara Vickers) return to Oxford, much also remains unresolved following her disappearance the previous year and Endeavour’s unexpected proposal.”
Episode one will see the team take on solving the grizzly murder of a well-known gangster before a number of similar murders occur and they have a serial killer on their hands.

According to ITV: “The hunt is underway to find a ruthless and violent serial killer, and track down the next victim before it's too late.
“Meanwhile, newly-promoted Endeavour struggles with his role as he's forced to mentor young detective constable George Fancy, and a surprise reappearance opens up old wounds.”
ITV have released a one minute clip of episode one.
The two hour episode, or short film, is titled Muse and it sees the action kick off once again in Oxford.
Endeavour will air on ITV on Sunday, February 4 at 8pm.
