One injured after semis sideswipe near Manvel, N.D.

MANVEL, N.D.—A Hunter, N.D., man was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks after a two semis collided Wednesday near Manvel.

Michael Nelson, 62, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after his 2017 Volvo and a 2007 Kenworth sideswiped each other as they met at 6:10 p.m. on U.S. Highway 81 about 4 ½ miles north of Manvel, according to a news release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
