Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Wednesday said that the state government would not resort to vendetta politics, however those who didn’t adhered to the work culture or ignored their duty would be dealt with accordingly.
Referring to the termination of employees on extenstion, Thakur said, "My Government took a strong decision of terminating the services of retired and tired who were enjoying the undue privilege of the Congress Government."
Addressing a gathering at Kangra district, he said there was a major decision of reducing the age of social security pension from 80 to 70 years to provide enough needed succour to the elderly.
“I am open to the suggestions in public interest and for welfare of the people of the state as I am the Chief Minister of a common man from common background”, he said.
CM ANNOUNCES HELP DESK OF STATE POLLUTUION CONTROL BOARD
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur announced the commencement of Help Desk Service of H.P. State Pollution Control Board to facilitate industries and public from February 1. This facility would be provided at 18 locations across the State which includes Head Office, Regional Offices and Regional Labs.
He said that in pursuance of directions to make 100 days plan for all departments, HP State Pollution Control Board had prepared its 100 days plan and this service is one of the important initiatives of this target. Suggestions would be invited from all stakeholders including public to improve the present infrastructure and betterment of information, education and communication about pollution and various environmental issues. This service will help to bring transparency in the works of the board and will also curb the corruption in the system.
Thakur said all suggestions from stakeholders would be reviewed by State Level Monitoring Committee to select best suggestions. The people with best suggestions will be appreciated and awarded on January 25 and April 15 every year. These suggestions would also be implemented.
