Oscar winner Octavia Spencer has grand plans for Marvel's "Black Panther" ahead of its official release. The "Shape of Water" actor intends to buy out a movie theatre in Mississippi to screen the film for children from underserved community. "I will be in (Mississippi) when this movie opens," Spencer posted in a message on Instagram. "I think I will buy out a theatre in an underserved community there to ensure that all our brown children can see themselves as a superhero.
I will let you know where and when Mississippi. Stay tuned," she added. Spencer had adopted a similar strategy for her film "Hidden Figures" last year and had bought out a screening of the film in a Los Angeles movie theatre.
