A video game mainstay will be coming to phones next year, Nintendo announced Wednesday night.
"Mario Kart Tour" is planned to launch in March 2019, the company said on Twitter. The game will be the first for the series on mobile platforms and ninth in its 25-year history.
Since 2016, Nintendo has launched five games for mobile phones along with a number of Pokémon titles. "Super Mario Run" has been its biggest success
with 200 million downloads since December 2016 .
