The curator of a retrospective of photographs by Wilmington native Hugh Morton will speak Sunday at the Cape Fear Museum.
Stephen Fletcher, photo curator with the North Carolina Collection at the University of North Carolina Libraries in Chapel Hill, will talk about Morton and his work at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the museum at 814 Market St. Admission is free.
Morton (1921-2006), a nationally known photographer and developer, was first president of the N.C. Azalea Festival and first chairman of the USS North Carolina Battleship Commission.
All New Hanover County residents will be admitted free to the museum on Sunday. The museum is open 1-5 p.m. Sunday. For information, call the museum at 910-798-4370.
