BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Patriots Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski cleared the concussion protocol on Thursday and returned to practice for the first time since suffering the injury in the AFC Championship Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Because he was still in protocol for Monday's Super Bowl Opening Night at the Xcel Center, and on Wednesday, it meant that Thursday was the only time during Super Bowl week that Gronkowski would meet the media.
