Valerie Vernale has been a welcome face at local comedy clubs for the past several years, taking the stage with a blend of confidence, biting humor and a willingness to challenge crowds and push the envelope.
She’s one of eight comics on a strong and diverse bill at Comedy Oakland on Thursday, Feb. 1. Irene Tu, Dalia Malek, Sid Singh, Red Scott, David Nguyen, Ben Feldman and Comedy Oakland founder Samson Koletkar round out the performers scheduled to appear.
Comedy Oakland is on the second floor of the historic Howden Building, which is curtained off on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and transformed into a comedy-friendly venue.
