NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has dismissed the petition filed by a person, seeking to file a case against him on charges of corruption.
CPM Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Councillor Sukkorna, who moved the petition, was also slapped with a fine of Rs 25,000. While fining the petitioner, the court said that such petitions which reached the court aiming individuals, under the pretext of Public Interest Litigation could not be accepted.
Earlier, Kerala High Court had also ordered that there was no need for probe against Sen Kumar.The cases pertained to the alleged forging of medical certificate and sanctioning of loan illegally.
