Glamorous ensembles, shimmering dresses and multi-coloured suits graced the red carpet at the 60th annual Grammy Awards at Madison Square Garden in New York City yesterday morning (Monday, Singapore time).

The event pulled together major artists and stars of the music world, including Lady Gaga, Sam Smith and Kelly Clarkson, who were spotted wearing white roses with their outfits in solidarity with the #TimesUp and #MeToo movements against sexual misconduct.

Lady Gaga, known for her outrageous outfits, turned up in a long-sleeved black lace body suit, leggings and a full skirt with a train. She, too, had a white rose pinned to her shoulder.

Other fashion standouts included Bodak Yellow rapper Cardi B, who wore an architectural white Ashi Studio gown and lace Louboutin shoes; supermodel Chrissy Teigen, who draped her baby bump in a stunning silver Yanina Couture dress; and singer Janelle Monae, who looked sleek in a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo with floral embroidery.

Here are some of the event's fashion standouts.
