Sleuths of Special Task Force nabbed another criminal bearing prize of Rs 25,000 from Bulandshahar and Saharanpur districts

Sleuths of Special Task Force (STF) nabbed a criminal bearing an award of Rs 50,000 in his name and another criminal bearing prize of Rs 25,000 from Bulandshahar and Saharanpur districts on Sunday.

A team of STF working on arrest of wanted criminals in Bulandshahar got a tip off, on Saturday, about dreaded criminal Teetu Aheriya, of Aligarh, who was to meet one his aide at Khurza road of the district. On the information, a team laid a trap and nabbed Teetu Aheriya. The miscreant owned his crime and disclosed that he names of his aides involved in different crime incidents. The police said the miscreant had 19 cases of crime in his name and these included loot, murder and Dacoity cases which are registered at different police stations in Firozabad, Aligarh and Bulandshahar.  

In another success, a team nabbed a criminal identified as Babar of Saharanpur on Saturday night. Babar belonged to infamous Mukeem Kala gang and was wanted in several cases of crime. The Saharanpur police had announced a cash of Rs 25,000 in his name after he went absconding. Police said Babar was arrested from Nanauta police station area of the district after an informer tipped off about his presence there on Saturday night. The police added that the Mukeem Kala gang was involved in cases of dacoity and loot
