Wetherspoons will be launching a £20 menu in time for the most romantic day of the year.

If the cheap grub promise isn’t enough to convince you to spend February 14 in Spoons, the announcement that they’ll be bringing back a popular menu item may do the trick.

    For £20, couples can get two main meals, a pair of desserts and a drink each.

    This includes steak, due to problems with supplier Russell Hume.

    Red meat lovers will be pleased to know that this dish is set to be returning from January 30 as Wetherspoons has found a new supplier.

    Other items on the menu include BBQ pork ribs, mixed grill or the BBQ chicken melt.

    Vegetarian diners can plump for the Mediterranean vegetable lasagne.

    For dessert, couples can pick between the warm cookie dough sandwich or the chocolate fudge cake, both with ice cream.

    If you want some extra fizz with your meal, you can add a bottle of prosecco to your order by paying a £5 supplement.

    To avoid disappointment on the big day, it’s advisable to check that your local Spoons will be honouring the deal.
