Arsenal fans beg club NOT to sign Malcolm after shocking dive for Bordeaux

ARSENAL and Tottenham target Malcolm won and scored a penalty for Bordeaux – in extremely controversial circumstances.

The winger has been linked to the north London rivals throughout the January transfer window.

And their hopes of signing him were given a boost recently after the Brazilian admitted he did “not know if I will be staying or leaving”.

Away from the speculation over his future, Malcolm carried on doing what he does best for the Ligue 1 side – scoring.

But the 20-year-old was slammed online for apparently diving to win his penalty.

In the footage, he can be seen charging into the box before cutting back as a defender closed him down.

Malcolm then theatrically throws himself to the ground, without making any contact with his counterpart.

The referee pointed to the spot nevertheless and the in-demand youngster confidently fired into the back of the net.

Fans watching the moment weren’t too impressed, however, with some even saying their club should no longer go after the talented attacker.

“Just watched Malcolm earn a penalty for Bordeaux with a blatant dive – no contact whatsoever,” one Arsenal fan commented.

“That’s not the sort of player we won’t no matter how good he is.”

Another added: “Glad we didn’t sign him. That’s shocking.”

And a third simply said: “Worst dive I’ve ever seen.”
