JAMES CORDEN was chosen to present the 60th Grammy Awards this year but unfortunately for the host, he was mistaken for another person.

The 39-year-old may host a late night chat show in the US but many viewers initially believed that American comedian Jim Gaffigan was presenting the awards.
Jim was nominated for Best Comedy Album along with Sarah Silverman, Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld and Kevin Hart at last night’s star-studded ceremony.
The 51-year-old also appeared on stage to introduce country music stars Little Big Town before their powerful performance.
And, as he took to the stage many people believed that he was James, who had donned a pair of glasses for the awards.

Did James Corden just put on glasses?
Taking to Twitter to reveal their confusion, one viewer shared: “Lol for a second I thought James Corden was Jim Gaffigan.”
“Did anyone else think Jim Gaffigan was James Corden? #grammys,” a second tweeted.
Another added: “Did James Corden just put on glasses?”
As someone else wrote: “So that’s not James Corden with a beard?”

If that wasn’t bad enough, many viewers asked why Jim wasn’t hosting the Grammy Awards instead of James.
“Jim Gaffigan about 3000% funnier than James Corden. #grammys,” one commented.
While another continued: “Why isn’t Jim Gaffigan hosting instead of James Corden???? #GRAMMYs.”
Ahead of the awards ceremony James posed alongside many of the stars nominated for a gong and was spotted wearing a white rose in support of the Time’s Up movement.

He was joined by the likes of Rita Ora, Lady Gaga and Kelly Clarkson who chose to sport the delicate flower on their glamorous outfits.
The flowers have been adopted as a symbol of the Time’s Up campaign, which aims to highlight sexual assault and harassment.
The movement also aims to provide legal support for alleged victims.
