Survey open on city services, priorities

LAKELAND — Lakeland's annual Community Values Survey is open for comment.

The poll of residents typically leads the City Commission's budget-planning process, acting as a nonscientific aggregate of community opinion on services and management priorities — like whether maintaining Lakeland's quality of life is more or less important than fiscal management.

The city is offering some door prizes to spur interest: event tickets, parks passes, seats at a Flying Tigers game, a round of golf and a personalized street sign.

The survey can be taken at www.lakelandvalues.com. For more information, call 863-834-7926.
