Police was earlier probing the incident to ascertain whether it was a case of suicide (File)

Chennai:  A 29-year-old man fell to death from a bridge at Chennai airport early on Monday. He has been identified as Chaitanya Vuyuru from Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada.

Police said Mr Vuyuru came to the airport to board a flight. CCTV footage showed him as talking on phone while attempting to sit on wall of the bridge near airport's gate number 4 before falling from there.

Police was earlier probing the incident  to ascertain whether it was a case of suicide.
