Thanks to Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone now has the highest number of Rs 100 crore films

Deepika Padukone was once called the fourth ‘Khan’ by Trade, the latter being a symbol for a person who is as big at the box office as the mighty trio of the Khans. She is one of the most successful actresses of Bollywood with mostly all her films earning huge money at the box office. Now with Padmaavat, she has the maximum number of Rs 100 crore films in her kitty. The film has earned Rs 114 crore in just four days and added another jewel to her crown of a queen.

Padmaavat is also the highest opening weekend numbers for Deepika Padukone. The other films of the actress which had also hit the Rs 100 crore club was Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Race 2, Goliyoon Ki Raas Leela Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani. All these films are some of her biggest hits. So if you just take a round figure of Rs 100 crore each for all these films, Deepika alone has given the industry Rs 700 crore! That’s simply incredible!
