The British singer looked sensational in the black figure-hugging gown, which featured a very high thigh split.

However, it seemed like she was unable to manage the racy garment as she was snapped desperately trying to pull it down while she walked.

Despite noticing that her dress was rising up, the singer appeared oblivious to the fact that the bodice of her frock was inches away from revealing her entire cleavage.

Unbeknown to her, the Hot Right Now hitmaker almost suffered a nip slip as posed up a storm for waiting paparazzi before making her way into the venue.

The 27-year-old star made the most of her red carpet appearance as she pulled a series of smouldering faces while she showed off her racy ensemble.

In one particularly enticing snap, Rita showcased her slender thighs, while giving onlookers a glimpse of her underwear.

She accessorised the standout outfit with classic black pumps, sparkling earrings and a few silver rings. 

But the most prominent item on her attire was a white flower, which she placed on the sleeve of the one-shoulder frock.

Rita wore the delicate flower in support of the Me Too movement, a campaign that raises awareness of sexual harassment and abuse.

The colour white has long been associated with the fight for women’s equality, dating back to the suffragettes.

At the Grammys this year celebrities including SZA, Julia Michaels, Miley Cyrus, Sam Smith and Anna Kendrick have all chosen to wear the flower.

Anna, who is apart of the Pitch Perfect franchise, paired the white rose with a chequered two-piece suit.

Underneath the androgynous ensemble she wore a lacy top, which featured a plunging V-neckline.

She completed the look with stylish pink stilettos and a few pieces of jewellery. 

Her brunette tresses were worn in tousled waves which she let drape across her shoulders.

This year’s Grammy Awards ceremony is held at Madison Square Garden in New York, USA and is hosted by James Corden.
