2 killed, 4 hurt in 3-motorcycle crash in Batangas
SAN PEDRO CITY – Two people were killed while four others were injured in a road accident involving three motorcycles in Batangas province over the weekend.
A report from the Batangas provincial police showed that the incident happened past midnight on Sunday in San Pascual town. Three motorcycles collided and instantly killed one of the drivers identified as Adrian Calingasan, and his still unidentified passenger.
Meanwhile, the wounded individuals – Gerald Baldoz, Aron Escalona, Angelo Fernandoz, and Gerson Julongbayan – were brought to a nearby hospital.
Investigation on the cause of the collision is underway but police noted that the persons involved in the accident were allegedly found to be drunk. /kga
