After a two-game suspension and three games out of the Rockets rotation, Gerald Green will likely return to his role filling in because of an injury.

After excelling when James Harden was out with a hamstring injury, Green could be called upon again if Trevor Ariza will miss time with a hamstring injury.

"I hate to see a brother go down like that," Green said. "I know my number might be called. I have to go out there prepared. I know I'm going to play a lot.

"We're professional. We got to do what you're paid to do. If they tell you to go out there, touch the top of the backboard, sit up there and have a drink, you got to touch the top of the backboard, sit up there and have a drink. You got to do whatever the team asks you to."

On Sunday, that meant having Chris Paul tell him to take a pair of technical free throws.

"I haven't seen the ball go in in a few days," Green said. "That let me see one go in, kind of helped me out."
