Jaynesh Chudasama, from Hayes, west London, is accused of three counts of causing the death by dangerous driving, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed.

Harry Rice, George Wilkinson and Josh Kennedy died at the scene of the shock crash on Friday evening.

A black Audi is believed to have mounted the pavement and struck the three teenagers, who had planned to spend the night celebrating their friend’s birthday.

Mr Chudasama will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court today.

Meanwhile, another man was arrested in connection with the incident after he voluntarily attended a north London police station.

The Met Police said in a statement: “The 34-year-old man voluntarily attended a north London police station shortly after 7pm on Sunday, January 28.

Detective Sergeant Michael Rapp, of the Met's serious collision investigation unit, added: "This is a fast-moving investigation and CCTV inquiries and forensic analysis of the car involved are under way.
