A MOTORIST driving “erratically” around a busy town centre smashed into two cars on Saturday afternoon.

At the wheel of a silver Peugeot 206, the driver crashed into a Mini on Hartlepool’s Clarence Road before going on to collide with another vehicle close to KFC on the Marina.

Hartlepool’s Neighbourhood Police Team are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to speak to them about the incident, which happened at around 12.55pm.
