A 6-year-old child accidentally shot himself Sunday morning in north Houston.
A caller at the Coppertree Village Apartments phoned in the shooting around 11:20 a.m., according to police.
First responders rushed to the apartment in the 1400 block of West Gulf Bank and took the child to Texas Children's Hospital.
Homicide responded to the call, but police said the boy's condition wasn't immediately known.
