AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) An inmate from Middle River Regional Jail is wanted after leaving custody Saturday evening, according to the facility.
Richard Daniel Accord walked away from a family member, a court-ordered custodian, around 7:00 p.m. while being released on a furlough to attend a funeral service.
Accord was awaiting trial on drug and weapons charges. He was last seen near the Walmart on Lucy Lane in Waynesboro, MRRJ said.
