Professor Jane den Hollander, vice-chancellor and president of Deakin University, Australia and Ravneet Pawha, deputy vice-president (global) and CEO South Asia, had an exclusive video conference with selected journalists from Bangladesh.
Deakin at present has over 100 students from Bangladesh. It offers a variety of scholarships to financially challenged international students through their Deakin experience. International students who study full time on campus are awarded scholarships based on academic merit.
Prof den Hollander, while interacting with media from Bangladesh, announced one 100% International Vice-Chancellor Scholarship that would be given to outstanding meritorious student from Bangladesh who can pursue any undergraduate or postgraduate program at Deakin. Apart from this, there are bursaries ranging from 20% to 25% offered to students from Bangladesh.
