SYCAMORE — Mohawk’s 12-7 advantage from the free-throw line proved to be the difference as the Warriors held off Carey 56-51 for a Northern 10 Conference win Saturday to sweep the season series with the Blue Devils.
Both teams made 16 2-point goals and four 3-pointers. Zach Hayman scored a game-high 24 points for Mohawk (10-5, 8-3 N10), while Keith Jenkins had 14.
Trey Bame’s 16 points led Carey (10-5, 6-5 N10), which trailed 22-14 at halftime. Hayden Stone added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Ottawa-Glandorf, the No. 3 team in the latest Division III Associated Press poll, improved to 16-0 with the win. Columbus Grove dropped to 5-10.
Jay Kaufman led the way for the Titans with 17 points. Bryce Schroeder and Ethan White netted 12 points each and Owen Hiegel added 10.
Freshman Blake Reynolds scored 12 points for Columbus Grove.

Tanner Schroeder backed the Panthers with 15 points and four steals.

North Baltimore’s Julian Hagemyer (12 points) got a clean look from 3-point range to tie it in the final seconds but came up short.
Zeb Jackson racked up a game-high 30 points with four 3-pointers for the Hawks (12-3) while teammate Jaiden Woodley chipped in 17 points.
Levi Gazarek sank all 11 of his free throws en route to a 23-point night to pace North Baltimore (8-3).
