35-yr-old woman succumbs, death toll in Pak firing reaches 14

A 35-year-old woman, critically injured in Pakistani firing along the International Border (IB), succumbed to today, raising to 14, the number of deaths due to cross-border shelling since January 18, police said. Bimla Devi of Kana Chak in Jammu was critically injured in Pakistani shelling on January 22 and was undergoing treatment at the here. "She died this morning and after postmortem the body was handed over to her relatives for last rites," a said.
