Flaying the Bhartiya Janta Party ruled government for failing to fulfill the poll promises, Rashtriya Loka Dal (RLD) senior leader Anil Dubey said the system in this government had collapsed and people are feeling cheated.
“There remains no system in the state,” he commented.
Dubey was speaking to RLD leaders while reviewing the arrangements of the preparation for Kisan Mahapanchayat, to be held in Kotwa of Barbanki on January 29 and to be chaired by RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary, at party headquarters on Saturday.
Dubey pointed out that the government had promised to the farmers to give 1.5 times of the cost they invested but did not do the same. “It seemed that the government was not in mood to give them the cost then invested,’ he said.
Dubey called on the leaders to fight for the potato growers while highlighting their plight. “The potato growers are throwing their produce as they are not getting the cost value even. But the state government does not seemed bothered about this,’ he said adding that the RLD will demand Rs 1200 as support price for potato in the Kisan Panchyat. The RLD leader said the government failed to provide jobs to unemployed, hassle free atmosphere to traders to run their business and job guarantee to labourers. “Different recruitment boards are sans its chairman. Promise to create jobs is a far fetched cry,’ he said.
